The Steering Committee was comprised of representatives from the participating entities' city councils and board of supervisors as well as water/irrigation district managers and the Caltrans District 3 director. Staff from the Department of Fish and Game (DFG), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS) also attended these meetings. The purpose of the committee was to provide administrative oversight in developing the formal public draft BRCP.
As the final BRCP is being developed, BCAG and the Permit Applicants are continuing to meet with key elected officials and Permit Applicant representatives to coordinate the final approvals of the Plan.
