The committee also reviewed recommendations for additional Species of Local Concern including Merlin, Cascade frog, Hitch, Hardhead, Tule perch, Brittlescale, Subtle orache, Four-angled spikerush, Adove lily, and White-stemmed clarkia. The committee also received an update on the general plan processes and an update on the Butte County meadowfoam evaluation for the City of Chico.

At the meeting, the committee received a status report on the Planning Agreement approval, reviewed revised species habitat models for Giant garter snake and Spadefoot toad, and reviewed new species habitat models for vernal pool/swale plants, Conservancy and Vernal pool fairy shrimp, Tadpole shrimp, Ferris' milkvetch, Lesser saltscale, Butte County golden clover, Butte County checkerbloom, and Bank swallow. The committee also reviewed a Butte County meadowfoam distribution map as wella s the BCM habitat model. Table 1 from the independent Science Advisory Panel report was also discussed.

At the meeting, the committee reviewed an updated schedule for the approval of the Planning Agreement, revised species habitat models and the proposed approach for the Impact Assessment chapter. The committiee also reviewed the updated vernal pool/swale mapping, scheduled an evening workshop to review this mapping on large scale maps, and discussed the planning area boundary.
At the meeting, the committee received a status report on the Planning Agreement, September Public Workshops, and vernal pool mapping; reviewed the Science Panel Guidance Report and listed to Wayne Spencer, Science Panel Facilitator, describe the report via conference call; and reviewed 14 new species habitat models and 7 revised species habitat models.
At the meeting, the committee received a status report on the Planning Agreement, Science Panel Guidance Report, revised vernal pool mapping and upcoming Public Workshops. The committee also reviewed the following items: revised land cover type mapping for the managed wetland areas, Veiny Monardella species account, and habitat models for the Bald Eagle, Swainson's Hawk, Greater Sandhill Crane, Peregrine Falcon, Tri-colored Blackbird, Yellow-breasted Chat, and Western Yellow-billed Cuckoo.
At the meeting, the committee reviewed and gave its final blessing to the Committee Roles & Responsibilities document; reviewed upcoming public outreach activities including a draft newsletter, brochure, public workshop format; and discussed the Covered Activities chapter and the status of the vernal pool mapping update and the revised land cover type mapping.

Butte Regional HCP/NCCP consultant, Paul Cylinder with SAIC, then provided an hour long “HCP 101- introduction to HCP/NCCP” presentation.
