At the meeting, the committee received a status report on the Planning Agreement, September Public Workshops, and vernal pool mapping; reviewed the Science Panel Guidance Report and listed to Wayne Spencer, Science Panel Facilitator, describe the report via conference call; and reviewed 14 new species habitat models and 7 revised species habitat models.
At the meeting, the committee received a status report on the Planning Agreement, Science Panel Guidance Report, revised vernal pool mapping and upcoming Public Workshops. The committee also reviewed the following items: revised land cover type mapping for the managed wetland areas, Veiny Monardella species account, and habitat models for the Bald Eagle, Swainson's Hawk, Greater Sandhill Crane, Peregrine Falcon, Tri-colored Blackbird, Yellow-breasted Chat, and Western Yellow-billed Cuckoo.
At the meeting, the committee reviewed and gave its final blessing to the Committee Roles & Responsibilities document; reviewed upcoming public outreach activities including a draft newsletter, brochure, public workshop format; and discussed Covered Activities and the status of the vernal pool mapping update and the revised land cover type mapping.
At the meeting, the Committee reviewed the draft Planning Agreement and Committee Roles & Responsibilities document, and made recommendations for additional Science Panel candidates.
At the meeting, the Committee reviewed and provided input on the draft Committee Roles and Responsibilities document, revised draft Planning Agreement, Draft Science Panel List, and Draft Acronym List, and received an update on the Perigrine Falcon Species Account, Potential Covered Species List, and List of Species of Local Concern.
At the meeting, the Committee reviewed the draft Short List of potential Science Panel candidates, draft Planning Agreement, and reviewed comments received on the 16 additional covered species accounts. The review of the revised committee descriptions was postponed until the next meeting on May 2nd.
At the meeting, the committee discussed roles and responsibilities of the Stakeholder and Steering Committees, determined regular meeting dates, and reviewed comments received to date on the draft Ecological Baseline Conditions Report.

At the meeting, the committee discussed several housekeeping items including committee roles, responsibilities, meeting dates, etc., and reviewed copies of the draft Ecological Baseline Conditions Report. Butte Regional HCP/NCCP consultant, Paul Cylinder with SAIC, then provided an hour long “HCP 101- introduction to HCP/NCCP” presentation.
